About the Artist: A Field Remembered

My name is Robbie George, and this site is a field of resonance—one where nature’s rhythm can speak again through quote, photograph, and place.

For the past 12 years, I’ve worked as a photographer for National Geographic, capturing the subtle harmonies and bold truths of the Earth’s wild places. But this project—Earth Day Quotes—is more than photography. It’s an act of remembering. A home for timeless wisdom and soil-deep reconnection.

This website is my offering to the voiceless: Mother Nature. Her song has been buried beneath machines, paved over by monoculture, and sterilized by synthetic noise. But she still hums in soil, in tree rings, in the spiral horns of wild sheep. My work is to help you hear her again.

“Kindness to Mother Nature is the most courageous act of wisdom there is.”
~ Robbie George

Quotes as Seeds

Every quote I’ve written was born from a moment in the field—while witnessing a sunrise crack over alpine snow, or listening to a red-winged blackbird sing from the edge of a pond. These words are not decorations. They are anchors—messages remembered from the Earth herself.

Alongside my quotes, you’ll also find the timeless voices of John Muir, Thoreau, Emerson, and other great stewards of wild truth. These men left behind a vibrational legacy I deeply honor. I see them as early field-aware thinkers, entrained to the pulse of nature long before we had the words for coherence.

What Earth Day Really Means

Earth Day is not about slogans. It’s about soil. It’s about supporting the people who tend to it—local regenerative farmers, artists, makers, and caretakers of place. It’s about buying from your zip code, not from shipping containers. It’s about remembering how to resonate with where you are.

If you’re here, you’re likely someone who feels that same longing—to return to rhythm. Thank you for walking this path. For honoring field wisdom. For planting resonance back into the land.

Credit & Print Support

If you share any quotes from this website—mine or from others—please give proper credit and, when possible, link back to www.earthdayquotes.com. It helps keep the work alive and searchable for others seeking the same path.

If you’re interested in purchasing one of my fine art nature prints, your support goes directly toward helping me continue this fieldwork—and toward amplifying Earth’s rhythm through visual storytelling.
